Now that all your tickets have been booked! Here's an outline of how your trip will look like!
Your next 3 days in Krabi will revolve around some truly relaxing places.
Day 1: Arrival & Leisure
Depending on where you are staying - Krabi Cinta House/The Guest Hotel/SJ House etc, you can opt to take a bike and explore Krabi Town at your leisure. Bike rental would cost you somewhere around 250thb to 270thb. Those staying at Krabi Cinta House - you already have 1 day COMPLIMENTARY BIKE. Those of you are staying around Aonang area, can take a 25 minute ride up to Krabi Town to explore what the Town has to offer.
My personal favourite is to ride the bike along the roads to check out the unique Traffic Lights. From Saber Tooth Tiger, Ape man, Mammoth and many more you will surely be delighted.
You can visit the Tiger Cave Temple or climb to the Big Buddha - the hike up is well worth your sweat. Take your time to the top. It's pretty shaded throughout your climb. Bring your water along if you're planning that route.
After the hike, you can enroute to the Emerald Pool and Hot Springs for a quick dip in the termal springs. There is a small fee required to visit the pool - approximately 200thb per person. Get your waze up and enjoy your ride.
Stop for a quick peek at Wat Kraew or the Mud Crab structure at Utrakit Road, before heading back to your Hotel. For traveler's who intend to grab dinner along the way, check out Anchalee Restaurant - offering a quiet and beautiful ambiance, the food served comes in big portions and reasonably priced. Not to forget, it tastes good too ~
Breakfast will be served in your designated Hotels. Depending on your Hotel location the pick up time will be informed the day before. Have breakfast and await your transport. Do be patient in case of delays as it is a shared pick up transfer. In some cases, the guests in other Hotels may not be punctual, and the driver has to wait for them, making your pick up slightly delayed. This is usually the common scenario if the driver happens to be late. The National Park fees (400thb) is compulsory and will be paid to the Tour Operator when you register your name at the Nang An Pier.You will be given a wrist band to identify your group and your guide for the day. At the Nang An Pier, there is a mini store should you need any last minute items like swimming shorts, handphone waterproof casing, sunblocks or some snacks on board.
You will visit all the Islands and as much as you are excited to kick off your trip, always remember to note down your vehicle number or the drivers contact number - to reach them at the end of the day, in case they arrive later than scheduled. At the end of the activity, all the pick up vans will be awaiting in line for their guests, hence having identified your driver and vehicle's number will be of good use.
Having returned to your Hotel, you can check out Aonang Night Market or Aonang Walking Street. Here you can find the iconic Swordfish structure. Grab dinner at the many restaurants along Aonang. There are vegetarian options and Indian food if you go further down Aonang too.
Tips! As much as noticing the Taste of Food - also check the Price of Food as compared to Krabi Town which you visited on Day 1 ~
Day 3 : Hong Island
Similar to the previous day, the National Park fee is 300thb and paid directly to the operator too! Enjoy your trip and upon returning - you can opt for Dinner at either Krabi Town or Aonang, now that you have explored both places.
Day 4 : Goodbye Krabi
Your pick up time will be informed ahead and if it is an early flight, you can inform the reception/manager to prepare your breakfast earlier and also drop you a room call in the event your driver arrives earlier 😊
